Stars like Paris Hilton and Katie Price make a living from their ranges, flogging everything from hair extensions to equestrian clothing to fans and followers around the world. There's no denying the pulling power a big name has in the world of fashion. A google search for 'Kate Moss Topshop' brings up 10,400,000 results. When the model's first collection for the high street retailer went on sale, eager shoppers queued outside Topshop Oxford Circus in London for up to nine hours just to be the first to get their hands on the designs. Lily Allen's frou-frou prom dresses and bright heels for New Look enjoyed similar success, while Beth Ditto's highly anticipated range for Evans allows plus-size ladies to get in on the star style act. Sarah Jessica Parker eschewed her usual Carrie Bradshaw couture to create Bitten, a range for a discount store that cost as little as $10 a piece. Sienna Miller, Victoria Beckham and the Olsen Twins go the other way with their pricey, exclusive collections stocked only in designer boutiques.
